About

Meet the therapist.

Cheryl A Burton is very comfortable working with a client whose faith is important to them. The Clinician’s intake process includes questions regarding potential client’s faith, religion, or spirituality. Clinician identifies as a Protestant who is very active in their faith tradition and is very comfortable sharing their own spiritual beliefs in sessions to assist in the therapeutic process as appropriate. The Clinician is open to incorporating holistic practices in therapy sessions with client’s consent or request including mindfulness, prayer, scripture, and bibliotherapy: including faith, religious, or spiritual books/literature.

Faith and care

Their approach to faith.

“I believe that the Holy Spirit is available for our access in all situations. I believe that healing and insight comes through our connection with the Holy Spirit.”
