Verified Practice badge

What practice verification includes

When you see the “Verified Practice” badge on a Premium tier listing, it means we have confirmed:

  • Business Documentation: The practice has provided valid business registration or professional practice documentation.
  • License Confirmation: A professional license number has been provided and is on record.
  • Complete Profile Information: The therapist has provided credentials, years of experience, insurance acceptance, and session fees.
  • Contact Verification: We have confirmed that the practice’s contact information is accurate and current.

Verification is valid for 12 months and must be renewed annually to maintain the badge.

Important limits

What practice verification does not include

It is important to understand what our verification process does not cover:

  • Clinical Outcomes: We do not evaluate or guarantee quality of care, treatment effectiveness, or patient outcomes.
  • Patient Satisfaction: We do not collect or verify patient reviews, ratings, or satisfaction scores.
  • Therapeutic Approach: We do not evaluate or endorse specific therapeutic methods or faith integration practices.
  • Professional Competence: We do not assess clinical skill or expertise beyond basic credential verification.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: We do not continuously monitor disciplinary actions or license changes between annual renewals.
