Dr. Lisa M. Cataldo is very comfortable working with a client whose faith is important to them. The Clinician’s intake process includes questions regarding potential client’s faith, religion, or spirituality. The Clinician identifies as a Catholic who is active in their faith tradition and is slightly comfortable sharing their own spiritual beliefs in sessions to assist in the therapeutic process as appropriate. The Clinician is open to incorporating holistic practices in therapy sessions with client's consent or request including mindfulness.
“I respect the power that faith can have in helping someone feel grounded, centered, and held. I am well-educated in multiple faith traditions. My own spiritual grounding in Catholic Christianity frames my respect for and valuing of the human person.”
