About Jesus Loves Mental Health
Bridging faith and mental wellness through compassionate, Christ-centered care

Founder's Note
Jesus Loves Mental Health was born out of my own journey of finding healing through trusted conversations, wise Christian counsel, and spaces where faith and emotional health could exist together without apology. This platform reflects my belief that centering Jesus Christ—not softening or sidelining Him—creates room for honesty, clarity, and real growth, and that when people are met with care, patience, and truth, meaningful change becomes possible.
That belief was further shaped through co-hosting the weekly YouTube podcast Products of Circumstance (POC) with Ken Skeen, where we had honest conversations about mental health and mindset through the lived experiences of Black men. We talked openly about family and relationship trauma, money, self-worth, gratitude, and the everyday challenges people carry but rarely talk about. Those conversations made it clear that people need spaces where they can be seen, heard, and supported without pressure, which is something Jesus Loves Mental Health seeks to reflect.

Our Mission
Our faith-centered mental health mission is dedicated to providing compassionate, professional care that honors the unique journey of every individual. We believe in the healing power of connection and the importance of integrating faith with evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore their emotional well-being, find strength in their beliefs, and achieve lasting growth.
We envision a world where mental health care and Christian faith work hand in hand, removing stigma and fostering healing, hope, and spiritual growth.
What We Believe
Mental Health Matters to God
We believe that God cares deeply about our emotional and psychological well-being. Scripture is filled with examples of individuals who struggled with despair, anxiety, and trauma—and God met them with compassion, comfort, and healing.
Faith and Science Work Together
We affirm that faith and clinical psychology are not in conflict. Evidence-based therapeutic approaches can be enriched by prayer, biblical counsel, and spiritual practices, creating a holistic path to healing.
No Shame in Seeking Help
Seeking therapy is an act of courage and wisdom, not weakness. Just as we seek medical care for physical ailments, seeking professional support for mental health challenges is a responsible and faithful choice.
Community and Connection
We are not meant to walk through life's struggles alone. We believe in the power of community, professional support, and the body of Christ working together to bring hope and healing.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
— Psalm 147:3
